Decided to head off to Rome for the weekend, so checked everything out with Tripadvisor, and because we did, everything went smoothly. We got our hotel, transport, recommendations for restaurants and all the historic sites from Tripadvisor. We are going to Paris in July for the weekend, and of course have got all our info from Tripadvisor again. Wouldn't dream... More

We recently visited Rome, Italy and hired "Easitalytours" www.easitalytours.com. We can not say enough about how we were treated and the knowledge our two guides Roberto and Fabio provided us about their homeland. If you are looking for a guided tour of not only Rome but the country sdie as well, we highly recomend hiring easitalytours and sit back and... More

Words cannot express the beauty of the old roman ruins, just sitting in the coliseum and letting your imagination take over of what it was really like back in the roman times. More

Ancient Rome was really cool. I wish they weren't working on so much of it, but being so old it's understandable. It was hard getting pictures without scaffolding or mesh, but it didn't really take away from the overall feel. A must see for any visitors to Rome! More

There is no place like Rome - absolutely none - and despite centuries of neglect when the Tiber's frequent flood buried the glory that was Rome, the various invasions and sackings of Rome, the chaos of the Renaissance Popes, and so much more, there is still the authentic Rome right there waiting for anyone who wants to come discover it.... if you have any interest in the "real" rome here it is. too bad there is nearly nothing left, but you have to see it with something that tells you how it was, and you'll understand what an empire was here nearly 2000 years ago. bring hiking shoes though! there's nothing flat about walking around here. My husband and I have traveled to many places and toured with many guides. I have to say Ilaria Marsili is the best guide we ever encountered. Ilaria is extremely knowledgeable, client oriented, and very personable. She easily adjusts her tour to the client's interests. She answers questions not with standard tour book answers but with enthusiasm for your particular... More

We hired Rich Brunn to lead us in a tour of ancient Rome and the Vatican. It was the best money we spent in Rome. Rich was enthusiastic, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about ... well... everything! He was bubbling with enthusiasm and made us fall in love with Rome. Without guidance, it is difficult to really appreciate all that Rome... More

Rome truely is the eternal city, but it is so full of wonderful experiences that it cannot truely be experienced without the services of a personable and knowledgeable guide. For this I cannot compliment enough our guide, Ilaria Marsili. She MADE our trip to Rome. We saw and did more then I ever thought possible, and her knowledge and anacdotes... More
