This took our breath away nearly every time we saw it. It is worth coming here at night as it looks incredible lit up.

This is located on the Piazza Venezia and is absolutely gorgeous. Also, it served as the backdrop for many of Mussolini's speeches as he used the balcony of the Palazzo to speak from. Also, check out the exhibitions located inside . . . definitely worthwhile.

When we went, there were two exhibitions on, one related to the deconstruction of works by Caravaggio and the second a selection from that year's Lazio offerings for the Venice Biennale. The exhibitions were both very interesting and we seemed to also be the only people in the place so it was very relaxing and easy to walk around.
