We visited the Bocca della Verita after 5:00pm. Unfortunately, they had already closed for the day. However, we got to see the statue from the outside. If you have time to spare, it is a piece of history to go and visit. Be prepared to walk to and from the metro station. It is quite a walk!

There was a queue that moved quickly as you’re only meant to take one photo each and there are people to encourage you to hurry it along if you try to take more. They like a €0.50 donation per person but I don’t think this is enforced. It was fun to do and fortunately I didn’t get my hand bitten...

Oh come on, it is free! Great as part of a walk. We climbed our way up thought the Forum/Palatine and then down the other side to the Piazza della Verite. We then headed back towards the tram on flat land. Worth getting a 24 hour transport pass without a doubt. Public transport in Rome is pretty good although access...
