This is something to see and it only takes 15 minutes. A donation is expected. Double check their hours because they were just opening when we arrived (I think they close for a few hours mid day). Very easy to get to from the metro. More

I had heard about this crypt during some research and thought it may be something a little quirky and different to show my 15 year old son. Macabre it may be .. but there is also a feeling of calmness and acceptance, especially if you are fortunate enough to hear the stories behind each section (or have researched beforehand). The... Awesomely creepy, the teens loved it. Real human bones arranged in designs, etc. A must see for teens. More

This is the crypt where the capuchins are buried. There are literally hundreds and hundreds of skeletons arranged in various artistic layouts. While rather macabre and bizarre, at the same time it is also quite beautiful. I would not recommend this for young children. If in Rome, I would say that this is definitely worth a visit. It is just... More

Even with all the grand sights to see in Rome this place will stand out in your memory. Unlike anything else you've seen, the interior is clad in monk's bones and skulls. Not as creepy as you'd think but definitely remarkable. Might be a bit hard to find, it's kind of in an unexpected area of town inside a church.... More

This place is fascinating and creepy. See it. They only ask for one euro. Make sure you read the message at the end. It makes one think. You can't take photos here. More

This crypt is amazing and creepy at the same time. They tell an amazing story with bones and even though you can't take pictures, the images I saw that day are burned into my brain. This is a very small crypt and only takes a few minutes to go through, but it's well worth it. Even though you can't take... More

Must see! Its eerie. It took me forever to find. For some reason I was expecting the enterance to be ground level (like a cemetary). But its not - you have to go up stairs. Its part of the church. Bring some change with you for the donation fee. You cant take pictures - just buy a postcard More

The way the Cappuchins had arranged the bones are amazing, almost to the point of chilling. A must see. More
