There are so many must-see places in Rome such as Collesium, Forum, Vatican and Museums. So if you do not have more than five days, I do not recommend to visit this place. A big crowd of tourists waiting to put their hands into the mouth of the sculpture and have their photo taken. Not so interesting. More

Always wanted to see this since seeing Gregory Peck with Audrey Hepburn there in Roman Holiday - it didn't bite my hand off - thank goodness! More

Forget "Roman Holidays" with Audrey Hepburn. Today you have to be in line with a zillion tourists and fight your way in to barely see the "mouth".....you can do without this. More

When we were there, we only had to wait about 10 minutes. Kind of a must do photo op while in Rome. 50 cent donation requested is very reasonable. More

We visited this on our way down from the Aventine Hill keyhole but were sorely disappointed. The Mouth of Truth itself was outside the church but behind a gate with a 50 cent Euro fee to go through and take a picture with the Mouth of Truth. We didn't pay the fee - just took a picture of it from... More

It may sound awkward, with so many attractions in Rome, but this was my favorite! You've got to see the place... Just insert your hand and... Enjoy! More
