Not easy to get to, a relatively underwhelming place with a large bookshop (for Italian speakers) and a so so bar/cafeteria. Why would one go unless it where to see a show?

Great design by Renzo Piano, but if you carry a wheel chair or have long legs (seats) you'll have a hard time...

Went on Sat 3/3/12 to see Pappano direct Janine Jansen etc. Enjoyed the music and enjoyed watching the true aficionadi react to the different movements, most thought THEY were the conductor, even more. no doubts about architecture, which is really good in terms of design, nor about the need of such a place in Roma: nonetheless.... as a concert goer I believe that even hearing is important for a concert hall, and the whole thing is unfortunately very ar from being acoustically acceptable.

Excellent place for spending an evening and enjoying a good musical performance. Visited there, for the second time, during the bi-annual Rome Jazz Festival and saw the concert of Pat Metheny Trio. Very nice and modern concert halls complex. Impressing, beautiful structure. Enjoyable spaces with good air conditioning. Comfortable seats, sufficient leg room and good sight lines.
The complex is...

A music hall complex designed by Renzo Piano, this park-like ensemble is very interesting to see. The three auditoria appear as giant creatures set amid groves of olive trees, enclosing a large open- air theater. A restaurant, a media library and a store with a very good collection of CDs and books on music are open during the day, even...

The venue is very spacious and modern. There's a cafe/restaurant next to the ticket desk, and a bar around the corner where concert goers hang out before/after the gig.
Also a book/record store with long opening hours, perfect to pick up a CD if there is an autograph opportunity.
Beware that the security is very strict on cameras during the...

If you visiting auditorium make sure walk around "Olimpic Village", you can even see P.L. Nervi stadium and modernist cut of blocks.
Auditorium hosts music and cinema events, even open air fairs in summer, this place is also hosting a nice library (good section of art & architecture) and cafe (which is expensive for Rome standarts).

If you are an architecture buff, you'll want to check out Auditorium just for its design. But if you enjoy film or the performing arts, you should also pay this place a visit. I went after a Sunday-afternoon visit to MAXXI (they're down the street from each other), and the place was jumping! It was so nice to see all...
