My 3 & 6 year old daughters loved this place! And it was a nice treat after all the grown up museums. They limit it to a 1:45 time for your stay which is nice. The kids didn't want to leave of course, but could see the whole place was stopping which helped. There's also a restaurant and separate cafe... More

My husband and I took out 16 month old, energetic toddler. The museum has a great interactive water fountain. Younger children can play in a running stream of water with given cups and plastic glasses. Older children can use kinetic energy to create jets of water. I appreciate the plastic aprons and steps stools that were available as my child... More

Both my 10 years old son and I liked this place a lot! I recommend for all families with kids visiting Rome! They will love to have a break from historical attractions with some science and fun! Make sure to arrive in a good hour since they work in turns - from 10 to 11:45, for example. In this case,... More

Our three year old had a ball because everything there was based on reality. For adults who have never been to Italy I'd recommend going, because you learn about important things like how to buy food, how to use the bank and how to post a letter! Good relief from sightseeing for both our kid and us. More

This is a nice place. We visited in 11/2008. I loved taking my children here because they could interact with children from Rome. This museum is better for younger children, but my older children ages 11 and 9 enjoyed themselves too. When we visited they had a make believe ATM, a grocery store and more. The children were able to... More

If you are travelling to Rome with young children, then this would be a great place to go - lots for them to do and plenty of space for them to run around in. Its also very easy to find if you are using the metro for transport. However, we are talking young here - their website says for children... More
