There was nothing I disliked about this beautiful church. The chapels are spectacular. The frescoed ceiling is breathtaking. The famous dome optical illusion alone is worth the visit. It was also not as crowded as many of the more familiar sights and there were plenty of moments to take some good pictures. A MUST SEE in my book! More

The fact that it looks like a dome, until you are just about underneath the "dome" and realize that it is actually a flat ceiling, painted to look like a dome! Really pretty amazing. More

This church lies down a narrow alley which makes an appreciation of its fine front edifice difficult. One thing about Rome is that you end up with a crick in your neck because you are always looking up - however, visit this church and you will be gald that you did! More
