This experience receives the DOP stamp of approval!!! Alessandro is funny, charming, passionate about his food and fun to be with! It's more like going with a friend to show you around, not just some tour guide! More

Before to go to Bologna, I contacted o Barbara and she told me that the tours was full only they were place the day before our arrival. After reading many good review I decided to change my flight and I had a chance to have this great experience with Alessandro. My husband was complaining for waking up so early but... More

I can't say enough good things about our Italian Days Food Experience. Educational, entertaining and tasty. Alessandro was wonderful with the children who came on the tour the day we visited (it helped that they were marvelously behaved.) We continue to amaze our foodie friends with our photos and what we learned. Bravo, Alessandro! More

Thoroughly recommended. We had such a great day - interesting, fun and incredibly yummy! Alessandro was fantastic - the experience would not be the same without him. His knowledge and enthusiasm for the food is infectious and we left with full tummies and a much improved understanding of Italian food. Alessandro even helped us make a special reservation for my... You really don't need to read all of the reviews -- just sign up and go. It will be the highlight of your trip and provide the best photos, too. And make sure you spend a couple days in Bologna for all of the wonderful food and sights. Between the tours, Allessandro's infectious love of Italian food, the food itself,... More

Lots of others have raved about this wonderful day-trip outing. We agree! It was great fun, we learned a lot, met many nice folks, ate too much, and enjoyed Alessandro's style, presentations and company. A bit pricey, but we'd heartily recommend it to others. More

Alessandro was an excellent guide - full of passion for food and good ingredients. We ended our trip with a "light lunch" where our plates never had a chance to be empty and also our wine glasses were never dry.We had to roll out of this quaint little trattoria in Modena! Alessandro went beyond his duty and made a couple of... More

Alessandro is a real character, great energy and a passion for explaining everything about how great Parmigiana/Romano, Prosciutto Ham and Balsamic Vinegars are made. You will forever have a new appreciation and, unfortunately, won't want the substitutes you were happy with before! More

Italian Days Food Experience is indeed about experiencing just three of Italy's many beautiful foods. I'm sure that you can visit cheese makers, acetaias and prosciutto makers on your own, but you will miss the passionate, enthusiastic, funny and educational commentary provided by Alessandro, the owner of the food tour company. I believe that Alessandro is a serious foodie who... More

Fantastic day out - well worth the money. Other reviews say it all. One tip - do not book an evening meal for the day you go on the trip. You get so much food that we didn't eat another thing for 18 hours! It is best not to plan anything for the rest of the day - apart from... More
