Beautiful place to visit and take pictures. Great "central" location and landmark. We experienced an "Animal rights" protest in the square. Great local area for finding restrauants. More

A lovely open space in heart of the town. The Poseidon fountain attracts many tourists. The surrounding buildings are maginificent. Current renovations do not distract to much due to good project management. Many restaurants, and all kinds of shopping experiences close by. Sit down with a Gelato and enjoy watching the tourists, students and the lovely buildings or keep strolling... More

The Piazza Maggiore is a bustling town center where children can run after the pigeons and adults can sit down for a cup of espresso or cappuccino. Musicians play music at various times. More
