We spent our last day in Italy with Giulia guiding us through the Parma region and its food specialities. We were able to make a reservation last minute and Denise in the office was incredibly patient with our attempts to call from other places to confirm the reservation. Giulia met us at our hotel and led us from place to... More

I booked a tour for my brother and myself. We decided on the Parmigiano Reggiano tour and the Prosciutto di Parma ending with a lunch at the Castello di Torrechiara. Our guide was Erika a very sweet woman who was very knowledgeable about both the cheese and the meat. She offered to ride with us or for us to follow... More

Ericka did a great job showing us around and explaining the makings of the local cheese , meets, and vinegar. She shared stories about her family, Italy, even how to cook :) We had a great day :) More

We took a culinary trip to Italy last year. (Yes, I'm a procrastinator) First of all, Denise, in the Parma Golosa office was great to work with! She arranged everything, including the car rental. Our guide, Nick, picked my husband & me up at our hotel in Parma one morning. We drove to a Parmasano Reggiano farm, where we saw... More

My wife, myself and our two children aged 13 & 11 took a tour with Sara as our guide. She was thoughly enjoyable, informative & entertaining. If you have any interest in food whatsoever I highly reccomend it. We visited a small producer of parmagaino reggiano cheese, then a producer of proscuitto di Parma ham and finally a vineyard that... Sara was the tour guide that Parma Golosa organised for us. We were given very good directions for the car so we could meet up with our tour guide at the farm that makes Parmigiano Reggiano. Sara explained the production while we watched the workers handling the cheese at different stages of the process. Afterwards we did a cheese tasting... More

We have just returned to our Tuscan home after a trip around North-Eastern Italy. We had decided to find out more about some of Italy's wonderful foods, so after a trip to the rice growing area we took a cheese/ham tour with Parma Golosa. It proved to be a highlight of our trip, Erika our tour guide was amazing, she... More

www.parmagolosa.it is a well organized tour group with the perfect personal touch. Our guide, the lovely Caterina, met us at our hotel and led us to and through a small but wonderful Parmagianno-Reggianno cheese factory; we saw the entire process, and then to a Proscuitto factory. Following that, we'd signed up for the lunch at a local vinyard. Excellent offerrings... More

Nick gave us wonderfully informative food tours of the Parma region, including Parmigiano reggiano production, prosciutto di Parma and balsamico production. He has a great wealth of knowledge in these areas and is a native English speaker. After a delicious lunch of said products he even included a scenic walk to a hill overlooking the winery where we had lunch! More
