This cathedral is well worth a visit. It is quite large and the frescos are amazing. The interior is quite ornate. On the left, there is an area said to contain the remains of John the Baptist. On the right near the confessionals there is an unexploded bomb from WWII. But for me, by far the best things were the... more

By far my favorite spot in Genoa. The whole piazza is beautiful. The cathedral is the best, but the yellow & white building is nice too. I took a lot of pictures of this cathedral. more
