The plants are the main attraction at the Hanbury gardens. I particularly enjoyed the succulents and cacti which we cannot grow outdoors in the UK. Very nice exotic/botanic garden on a superb location. We combined it with a visit to the nearby town of Dolceacqua: the two combined make a perfect day trip away from the beaches of the Riviera. Parking at the gardens may be a bit of a problem (there is no parking lot). More

We visited the gardens in our late 60's but had no trouble navigating the paths down to the bottom.
