My last stop walking through Mantova was to the Palazzo Te. It was not as impressive as the Palazzo Ducale and the Northern end of the town. We were traveling to Mantova last weekend and we also stoped at Palazo te. You can find the parking right next to it. But we have a long time to wait before enter (there was so much people). But there is not so much to see. The park outside is poor. More

Don't bring a camera with you. Well, you can bring it with you but don't get caught using it. The main building was beautiful and my wife and I enjoyed walking through it. We ended our day at the cafe, then walking out to the grotto. When we got out to the grotto we were impressed about how good of... More

We had expected something similar to Palazzo Ducale but we were disappointed. There were only a few rooms and the frescoes weren't that impressive. More

Allow plenty of time when you visit this beautiful palace as there is just so much to see both inside and out. One of the highlights of our stay in Mantova More

Your stay in Mantova would not be complete without a visit to this most beautiful architectural gem. It used to belong to the Gonzaga family which ruled Mantova and they spared nothing to make it a masterpiece. There are frescos all over and I will mention two painted rooms in particular; the Sala dei Cavalli which has paintings of the... More

This is the second attractive palace in Mantua, after Palazzo Ducale. It has large painted rooms and a beautifully landscaped garden. More
