The palace is great and, most of all, the Sala degli Sposi with frescoes. People make reservation in advance to see it. Go and see for yourself, it it really worth it. More

We toured this Museo and Palace and found it to be quite interesting. It is huge and has some lovely wall frescoes. Mantua in general, was a lovely city to tour. It is not filled with lots of tourists and has a real medieval feel to the city. More

Palazzo Ducale in Mantova is a labyrinth of wonderful rooms and corridors, each with peculiar paintings. We visited this Palazzo last week. It is nothing short of astonishing. Set aside several hours for a remarkable tour. We did get awfully confused though trying to get out. The signage was dubious. Breadcrumb trail recommended. More
