Definitely this is a must visit even if you don't plan on buying anything. The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele shopping mall is beautiful. Actually there aren't many stores in it. We were at the Duomo and the Galleria is quite literally 3 steps away. It is a glass-topped mall of sorts, shaped like a plus or cross sign. Another Vittorio Emmanuel arch begins it. The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele is nice, but nothing to write home about.... There are lots of places in the world with similar architecture (or even better) and much more variety for shopping.. more

Even if you don't intend to shop, go to the Galleria just to marvel at the structure. It's right next to the Duomo, so it's worth visiting both. more
