this small former palazzo is charming and a great place to feel like you are really in a Milanese home. The audio guide is a must. Not only does it explain what you are seeing but occasionally you hear the last of the Bagatti Valsecchi's voice telling about what he did when he lived here. More

A chance to see the inside of a beautiful residence. Would have liked more of a sense of the history and how people lived here; the tour is more about artifacts/art than the house. More

Once the home of Fausto and Giuseppe Bagatti Valsecchi, the museum is an interesting view of life in a wealthy Milanese family in the mid and late 1800s. The furnishings, art, original collections give a sense of what that life must have been. Great bathroom with sunken marble tub, wonderful floors and ceilings (particularly the labyrinth ceiling), fireplaces and dining... More

This is a beautiful little privately run museum with many wonderful things to see. It was the home to two brothers from the late 18th century who wanted to live in high renaissance splendor, so they recreated the renaissance oppulance in their home. Everything in the museum is a quality period piece and most have been well restored. If you... More
