Though less famous than Notra Dame, it is no less impressive for its scale and detail - the Duomo is nothing if not totally imposing and extravagant and is certainly the largest of the Italian Duomos.
The detail of the exterior façade is considerable and breathtaking and would have involved massive wealth to commission - its little wonder its construction...
