This is a beautiful, historic opera house and the Museum tells the story with paintings and sculptures of some of the famous people associated with La Scala, includingToscanini, Puccini, Rossini, Bellini, and Verdi. Maria Callas made her debut here. Enrico Caruso and Luciano Pavarotti sang often here. More

We had tickets for 4 th floor loge (box), the front tickets. The performance was beautiful, it is our favourite so we were really happy to get to see it here in such a special place. The only downside was that the other 3 spectators in the box (not our friends) had to stand all the time to be able... More

La Scala is one of the most famous opera houses in the world. You can self-tour the building or you can get tickets for an opera, ballet or philharmonic performance. The ticket office is under the Duomo Piazza. We have seen fantastic operas here and ordinary ones. The opera house itself is magnificent. More

I purchased tickets online about 8 weeks prior to the show. We saw a ballet which lasted only 45 minutes. Following intermission, there was a different performance that was enjoyable. I didn't feel that I received full value for what the tickets cost but I still enjoyed the experience - do go! More

We were in Milan for just one night and shocked when we saw that an opera would be performed that night and we were able to get tickets (online in advance). Turns out it was a waste of money. The production and music were absolutely beautiful and the theatre is just beautiful. Our seats were a whole different story. We... More

I have a friend who is an opera singer, so it was fun to see what she aspires to. It was smaller than I expected, but still beautiful, and full of history. There is a small museum onsite, and we were able to look into the theater itself. We hadn't purchased tickets ahead of time, but could have gotten tickets... More
