The place is worth more than one visit. I did not regret having a dinner there. You should also try the Gran Moscato they serve there ... More

A stroll along Vicolo Lavandai makes you feel you are in a village rather than in a busy and noisy city. Buildings nearby may be labelled as "shabby chic". More

this is a little must-see even for quick visitors, as it gives an idea of the ancient Milan common life; the surroundings offer huge variety of bars, pubs, pizzerias and restaurants for all budgets. But ask for the price list first! It is definitely wirth visiting the almost nearby Churches of Sant'Eustorgio and of San Lorenzo. More

The canals were peaceful and pleasant, and this little alleyway was delightful. You can see the stones where I presume laundry was once washed. It's a nice quiet area for a daytime stroll, and you can eat good meals along the pavement. More

It's a nice bit of old Milan, an area where milanese ladies come to wash the clothes in the navigli water. Nothing wrong with it but it's not exactly an attraction of Milan ranking in the, say, top 40. If you happen to be in the navigli area give it a look, but I don't think it's advisable to go... More

in a very inviting area. Great that such places are kept and not replaced with yet another shop or restaurant. More

Go in this area as Milanese people were smart enough to leave it like it was a hundred years ago. The area is lively and trendy, now, but you still can catch the spirit of the "case di ringhiera" (fenced-balconies giving access to all flats on one floor). More

Just looking at an 1800 washing area is not enough reason to go unless you want to buy antiques at the nearby shop Il Fratino which has great furniture but at terribly high prices! If you take a walk along the naviglio you wont miss it! More
