We visited in January and made sure the Duomo was top of our list. We choose to climb the stairs to the top of the cathedral instead of using the list (it cost less too :-) )

This is the largest cathedral in Italy, so make sure you prepare your camera and a bottle of water for a full day. Take the Metro to the Duomo Station and be there just before sunrise for a wonderful photo, there would be less crowds as well. Avoid wearing shorts, slippers and spaghetti straps as there is a dress code...

One of the most beautiful architecture sites in the world! you can and should go up to the roof using either stairs or an elevator.

Visit if you are really interested in pagan/pre christian hisotry as it unravels the quality of urban planning existing in historic times.. small place but exciting for die hard hostory fans..located in a central area with lot of attractive monuments/ buildings including the oldest shopping arcade (Full of luxury brands!!)
