This is what it says, a monumental cemetery that is interesting in its size and the size and design of the family burial sites. More

Do not be put off by a visit to a cemetary. This place is a museum of art, sculpture, Christianity, and money. The endless rows of crypts, family tombs and simple graves all set in beautifully landscaped gardens are a joy to behold. This 200 years of Milanese history laid out before you. This has to be one of the... More

A very interesting place where you can get a little view into the history of famous Milanese families. It's best to hire a guide to get a real feel for what you are seeing. More

if you love photography, it is a great spot to exercise, but even if you dont have a camera, you will forever remember the statues in this cemetery, that at moments seems to be sleeping or about to move! Dont miss the Manzoni burrial place, which is a hall with beautiful blue wall and ceiling decoration! More

Most people don't think about visiting graveyards and the like, as an alternative to museums. This cemetery should be considered every time. With thousands of tombstones, crypts, mausoleums, and statuary, you will certainly find one of a kind pieces of artwork. Just be sure to give yourself enough time. Several hours at least. You will want to walk up and... More

Absolutely worthwhile the visit. The cemetery is situated just outside the center, but you can walk to it. It made a deep impression on us. It's a very special place and together with the Last Supper an absolute highlight from Milan More

Not emotionally but size-wise. This cemetery is larger than most city parks. It is actually a cemetery and sculpture garden all rolled into one. It was obvious that to many of the families buried there, money was not an issue. I have never seen a so many multi-storied tombs in one cemetery. They are doing much construction on the road...
