Amazing, not very well-known frescoes from the 15th century. Quiet subdued atmosphere. When you enter this church ou step out of a posh shopping neighborhood, and step in the rarefied atmosphere of a renaissance cloisters. Don't forget to visit both the church, and the monastery, with a 16th century organ by the most celebrated Italian organ maker of the renaissance. More

This church was recently restored so is a "new" tourist stop. The church is entirely frescoed, mostly by Bernardo Luini and his sons, and the frescos are outstanding. The attached Museo Archeologico is also very interesting. More

The mural was wonderful, but the visit rushed. Everything is timed precisely as you move from one station to the next. More

This church can be be reached on foot from St. Maria delle Grazie in just 10 minutes. We visited it with the same tour guide that introduced us to Leonardo's Last Supper and we were literally overwhelmed by the beauty and intimate atmosphere of this tiny church. The paintings are mostly by a fellow painter of Leonardo. His name is... More

Church looks fairly nondescript. Situated on Corso Magenta and is like holding a kaleidoscope up to your eye. As you enter, you are assaulted by fabulous paintings all around. More

For all fans of Leonardo, do visit this church (or rather 2 churches, one for the parishioners and one behind the altar for the nuns) It contains many frescoes by Bernardino Luini, a follower of da Vinci and is simply stunning. More

first you enter, the church appears very small, but then you discover the convent behind the partition wall. Magnificent! All the frescos well preserved. More

We walked over from the Duomo. Not too far even in the rain. We are seniors so do not think it is a hike. We were overcome with the Bacilica. Do not miss this! The paintings on the wall are so touching and can not be understood unless you see this first hand. More
