Best ice cream. This ice cream is delicious. Unfortunately it's basically made of cream, so you can't eat too much of it without getting an upset stomach.

This is by far the most incredible ice cream I've ever had. It is creamy, tasty, and very different from all the other gelaterias in town (like Grom). The flavors are very different from what you usually get in Italy. The place is clean, smooth jazz music in the background invites you to stay, enjoy your ice cream, read the...

First, this is an ice cream parlour rather than a tourist attraction as it has been incorrectly defined here. This makes the ranking pointless and misleading.
As ice cream goes in Milan, this is good. Clear flavours, original recipes ("Alice" et al) as well as traditional ones.
A strong creamy base is great for basic flavours like fiordilatte, may be...

Easily you can find a Rivareno gellato shop in Milan, there are about 5-6 around the city.
We (me & my wife) love ice cream and this is the smoothest / tastier / creamy one for sure we ate in Italy and in the world - note that we travel a lot. If you like ice cream you HAVE to...

I have visited Rivareno in Milano many times during the last few years and I have never been disappointed -- the creamy gelato just melts in your mouth. After each visit I start planning my return to Rivareno as it is without doubt the best gelato in the world. The quality of the gelato is outstanding and the flavors are...

The first thing that struck me is the texture of RivaReno gelato: it's so smooth and creamy as if it were made of silk. I know, I know, how can you describe gelato with a textile comparison? But that's the overwhelming sensation. I never write reviews of any kind, but this is something so extraordinary and beyond any convetional eating...

you know what's the most amazing thing about RivaReno's gelato? you eat it once, no matter what flavour, you want to go back, again and again. we were in Milano only two days and ate there three times. then we went to florence and went to their florence branch 6 times! it is that good and that addictive!

And one of them is Riva Reno! Hands down the best gelato that has touched my lips. I've travelled all over Italia and Milano has this hidden gem waiting in two locations, via Mercato and viale Col di Lana. If you want rich, high quality, succulent gelato, it here you shall find it. I don't go anywhere else for gelato....

We visited this gelateria as it was described as the best in town but were disappointed. Like almost all gelaterias the icecream was good but nothing special. A bit too creamy on the fat side and a good but normal taste. After a long walk we were a bit of a deception... Not worth the detour.
