Say what you like about Milan but this is probably the best ice cream you can buy for dozens of kilometers. My partner and I just came back from Milan last week and I have to say that we were very disappointed. We specially drove there and after a dinner at a fantastic restaurant nearby, we headed to Rivareno at 11.15pm since they were opened till-mid-night. I've eaten a lot of gelato in Italy. In Milan, this is my favorite place. Amazing gelato with extremely smooth texture. Some unexpected but yet traditional Italian flavors like pine nuts. I also like the minimalist decor. more

this is the best ice cream, sorry, gelato i tried in milan! and we went to about 5 different shops! try the mango and vanilla icecream with soured cherries for a simple but perfectly formed treat. the lady behind the counter was really, really helpful. ask for an english menu rather than struggling to read the ingredients on the wall.... more
