it was a very interesting afternoon looking at all the items found with Otzi the ice man, including his well-preserved mummified body. the fiction floor is a bit hard to take seriously, but worth a visit for a laugh at how ridiculous other people can be!

We were there during the 20 years of Ötzi special exhibition - and because it was a rainy day we had to wait in line for about 20 minutes before we actually could go in. But then we took our time walking through the museum. We didn't have to pay any admission fee...

What a wonderful side trip. We viisited the museum on our way to Castelrotto and thought it was so interesting learning about Otzi the Ice Man. So worth the 9 euros. The last floor where you learned about the media hype was a little strange but glad they included it. What is up with Brad Pitt getting an Otzi tattoo...
