I don't sky and never been in one of these before but loved it! the people, music, all the setting was excellent, the facilities to get up, restaurant and signs, everything was very nice.

boring boring - by day 2 we had out skiied the resord I can't understand way schools keeps coming back to this dreadful place - it's got dreadful food in the piste restaurants - worst in Itay - back to France for my family - would nver come here again

Red runs, but easy and wide. Compact resort with nice Runs. I would stay in Pila and use the Cable to go down into Aosta at night for the bars . Get off the bus at the car park to the lifts - Pila side of the train tracks. Otherwise it's a long walk in ski boots.

beautifully manicured pistes but very small area for the advanced. All pistes can be skied in one morning.

I have visited Pila many times in all seasons. It is always lovely. If you like the great outdoors then Pila has much to offer - skiing, walking and lots of outdoor pursuits. i am not a great skier but like to buckle on my snow shoes and go for a hike. Very peaceful experience but hard work.

Quite exposed ski resort, very cold when we visited. Still worth the trip from Courmayeur for a days skiing. The Restaurant Yeti at the top of the Aosta gondola is worth a visit for lunch.

Pila is a great resort in the Aosta Valley for ski or snow board beginners or improvers. It's well protected by mountains on all sides so not a windy resort.
Good intermediate & advanced skiers may find it lacking in challenge as the red runs are fairly easy & there aren't any really long runs.

We visited Pila over Christmas 2011, staying in Aosta and taking the Gondola to Pila, a 20 minute trip. The resort was ideal for our family of 2 very rusty adults and 2 children new to skiing. Food was tasty and cheap, coffee was the best at £1.30 a go. Italians were lovely, and the British instructors we had excellent....

Went to Pila early January 2012 for a weeks skiing with family. There was a lot of snow and we were lucky enough to have blue sky and sunshine all week, with all the lifts and pistes open.
