These frescoes receive little attention compared to the superstar attraction of the Arena travel but are really worth visiting.

Do take time to visit this delightful room. There are chairs on either side of it so that you can sit and admire to your heart's content the wonderful paintings on the walls and ceiling. Definitely worth E2.80 (April 2012 price).

Next to the Duomo on the other side of town from the Basilica of S. Anthony. But worth the walk to see the wonderful frescoes.

A superb set of frescoes. Quite cheap compared to the arena (Scrovegni) chapel, which is a similar attraction. Plus you don't have to book in advance, and can stay inside for as long as you want. Which we did, as we were trying to work out what each painted scene represented. Quite a marking attraction, definitely worth a visit.
