Padua university was an important institute and one of a kind in the past. The tour lets you experience some of that heritage through visiting the anatomical theatre and Galileo's lecture hall. there's a tour that gets you into the all classroom of anatomics and in the aula magna, I think it costs around 3 euro so it's totally worth it More

You can see many things, included the rooms were autopsies were performed and a very large stairs were available to arrive to the roof and it from above (students) The Galileo lectern was exhibited, where he gave his lectures!!! More

The Palazzo del Bo tour is a real bargain, at only 5 euros. It's worth a lot more than that. What a privilege to see the Great Hall with the podium where Galileo[!] delivered his lectures. The operating theatre is amazing as well. Even if you are only on a day trip to Padua, you should make time for this... More

The second oldest university in Italy, Padua's list of former teachers & students is impressive. You can no longer go up into the anatomical theater, but you can enter and view from cadaver's point of view. More
