There are some nice places to eat and the waiters are quick and friendly. I could spend the whole afternoon there watching people walk by.

Spoilt by all the many other more impressive town squares of Northern Italy, I must admit to some disappointment. While there is a fourteenth century municipal hall, it is not accessible to the public and the square is dominated by a heavy neo-gothic construction. It 's a cosy square... You got an idea what is an italian piazza... nice too the little hosterias they are around it, like Gigia, for example. You eat and drink standing up...

This piazza is very beautiful during the evening.The place is full of history. I can remember, I had to ask a question about the place and the people were very friendly.
