I was mostly thankful there was another bridge besides the rialto to get back to the main square. I enjoyed this different style, but it wasnt anying too special. I actually wouldnt even consider this an attraction, but saw it was listed as one on trip advisor. The area around the bridge is great, more low key. More

The Accademia had mostly gothic art, which really isn't my favorite. The rooms were a bit bland, but there weren't many people there so that would be a positive. I particularly enjoyd the rare painting of the Virgin Mary while pregnant. More

Leading away from the less atractive sestiere San Marco, connecting to Dorsoduro and the lovely Zattere, and moreover giving you a spectacular view on the Canal Grande and La Salute.......can one ask for more ? More
