The Bridge itself can be hardly seen if you are on it, but I recommend to check it from many point of view. You will find lots of shops on the bridge and many people. The best view is from the water I guess, but hard to find a second, when nothing is covering it. More

Another Splash!! Not only the bridge itself (pics from the top), but especially the open mkt 2min away from there. Don't miss the Fish Market with several fish stands where you can picture colors, smell the atmosphere, buy fresh fish if you have a place in Venice where to cook it. Also the Vedge market offers a huge variety of... More

Loved the bridge and the surrounding market, which was always bustling with crowds. More

This bridge is iconic. Deservedly so. It would be beautiful if not for the hundred or so people on it at most times, many of them standing smack in the middle of it trying to take photos. It also, unfortunately, seems to be a graffiti magnet, which further mars the beauty of it. If you walk in Venice you'll likely... More

Well we stayed in Palazzo Sant Angelo Hotel, you can stand outside the Hotel and see the Bridge which was a bonus, we found our way there eventually through the streets and was highly disappointed when we got closer, covered in grafitti and tourists and tacky shops. Best way to view/photo it is from the water, passed under it a... More

Your first trip down the Grand Canal is special, but when you round the turn and see the Rialto Bridge for the first time, you will never forget that sight! We passed under the bridge numerous times during our stay and it was special each time. The only drawback to our excitement of seeing the bridge was the fact that... More

If you're in Venice for a few days, you're bound to come across it at some point during your stay- the best time is in the morning before 10am (especially on a Monday) or in the evening after 6pm; otherwise you're bound to be fighting against a sea of tour groups battling their way across. If you're only here for... More
