Time had dulled the memory of the stratospheric prices so we returned. I still love the atmosphere and the service. The portions are generous, the food is just about "good" and the prices are eye watering. My wife had the set 38 euro menu which was good value. She was offered a choice of sweets and chose the cake.I was persuaded by... More

First, I want to say I live in NYC. I am used to ridiculous prices, tourist traps, etc. I am occasionally forced into bars with $15-$20 drinks. So, it should be telling that we walked out of this place. NO history is worth the prices here. The cheapest menu item was ~40 Euro for a garden salad. The drinks were... More

Harry's has a dress code between 12.00 and 3.00pm no shorts... It's worth going to the place were the Bellini was invented, but you will be disappointed with the glass it's served in. turn right out of St Marks square and just keep going until you reach the trees and you'll not miss it More

I know it is a long standing landmark and the tourists (especially Americans) love it, but its just too over priced and scruffy now. needs a lot of investment which is a surprise as drinks are not cheap. The food is good but again expensive. More

Ernest Hemingway liked to drink, and liked to travel, and liked to drink when he traveled. I've had the opportunity to imbibe adult beverages in more than a few of Hemingway's former hangouts. I had high hopes for Harry's Bar, one of those "must see" modern landmarks where the Bellini, a cocktail of white peach puree and champagne, was supposedly... More

My partner and I were told you must visit "Harry's Bar" whilst in venice and so decided to go for a early evening drink before going out to dinner. Most reviews will agree that one visit is enough and there are more appealing and cheaper places to visit. Two drinks for €38 and a free bowl of tiny tinned green... More

The white-coated waiters took our pictures and we had the requisite Bellini drink but it all felt a little too manufactured and unsatisfying. I couldn't shake the feeling that everyone was ordinary except the prices which are somewhat notable. Two drinks and a grilled cheese sandwich cost almost $100, which I felt was at least $50 too much given the... More

It was one of those things on a list of "what to do in Venice". The service was snarky and food totally overpriced and the environment super-cramped to say the least. It was done, check it off the list. But I won't be back. More

Little sandwiches and the fabled Bellini. Eat a few and drink a few and the tab will give you a life time of memories. You can say you have been to Harry's Bar. The legend lives for the next group of suckers. I was one. More

I have been to Harry's several times and was determined to go back on this trip despite my husband's comments that we had "been there, done that". As always, the bellini's don't disappoint. I know they are an arm and a leg for a small drink, but they are so good! We each had 2, which is quite a splurge...but... More
