We can rate this from its exterior only. We did not see this from the inside. This 16th century Benedictine church is visible from several points in Venice and it is a beautiful photo opportunity with its marble pillars. The church, a basicila, was designed by designed by Andrea Palladio. More

We haven't visited this church, just have seen from waterbus. The building is really nice. The waterbus stops also here. More

even if you do not want to see yet another church, go to this one to see Venice from it's tower. then DO force yourself to visit inside the church which is magnificent More

Take the vaporetta over to the island and get the most wonderful view of St. Mark's as well as visiting the beautiful church. It really is worth the effort. More

Quiet, no crowds, nice basilica. Take the lift to the top of the campanile and get great pictures of Venice. More

It takes a little effort to get across the lagoon to this church, but the views from the Bell Tower are amazing. You can see St. Mark's Square, up the Grand Canal, the coast of the Lagoon, and many of the outlying islands. There was a classic car show going on at the plaza in front of the church. We popped over to the island on the ferry (€4) and really enjoyed the magnificent views back over to Venice, a great sight over the Americas cup racing in the foreground. The only problem if you are up the bell tower on the hour the bells are certainly loud. The church itself was also well worth a quick look around. More
