Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A complete rip off.

On multiple occasions throughout the day we waited 15-20 minutes passed the scheduled times, in most cases giving up on any hope of ever seeing the bus.

I understand that schedules can’t be exact in a busy city, but this was just ridiculous.

The leaflet doesn’t give exact street names of where the pickup points are, so you spend half the time engaged in a treasure hunt for the signs.

One of the two lines is a minibus rather than a double decker (understandable given the tight streets in the city), but this means capacity is not sufficient and buses were often completely full.

50 euros for 2 adults and a child, for a service with missing stops and occasions when the bus doesn’t even turn up - complete rip off. Avoid.

OMG this city is amazing. I had amazing time there. Restaurants , small streets, the view of river , stores and every little thing in Verona is dreamy.

While in Verona for just a few days, we took this tour as we do in other cities to get to see the major sites and the sites about Romeo and Juliet. We paid for our tickets at the bus at it's stop in Piazza Bra for the first tour. We traveled thru the city and up into the hills. It was a hot day and hazy so our view down to the city was filtered. Upon our return to Piazza Bra we waited for the second tour and again bought tickets at the bus stop. Verona is beautiful and there is so much to see. I enjoyed the beauty of seeing Verona so much more than Parma (no tour there).

Wherever we go we do the hop on hop off bus tours as it is great way to quickly learn about the history of the place you are visiting. Unfortunately this tour is one of the poorer ones for commentary. Pretty sparse with long sections where they just play music. Such as shame as Verona is packed with history. Bit of a let down.

Handy to use when you arrive by train as it stops outside the station.
Treated like cattle. Keen to take your money but no rapour from staff. Wanted to get of at the top of a very steep hill to admire the view but was told that if there was no room on the buses following that we would have to walk back!Young guide was flippant, loud and unfriendly. At 20euros each we thought it was a rip off. Would not recommend.

We had walked all over but then decided to take the bus to maybe get some history and find out a little more about the sites. The commentary is pretty sparse. Most of the hour is spent sitting in traffic so you don't really see that much. At least the headsets worked. Not worth the money if you are physically able to walk around.

What a great way to see the city in the brief time I had available. I strongly recommend this. I hopped on at the train station and then transferred to the other bus line (they have two lines) so that I could see the entire set of stops. This gave me a good overview so that if I had more time, I would know which attractions to visit and spend more time at.

Really enjoyed the B line tour as it took you around the key parts of the old town centre area as well as on the outskirts and also to the top of the hill that gives fantastic views of Verona below. They also stop there for 5 mins so people can take photos. This might be longer on a full bus but we were only a few passengers at the time.

All the key stops for the Cathedral as well as the bustling and stylish piazzas. Plus the Juliette balcony. Interesting commentary and a great lady who we purchased our tickets from and gave us all the info. Superb hour or so. Didn’t do the A route but B looked the best to me. But your ticket covers both so no issue.

Such a hot day and seemed the best way to learn about this fabulous city. The trip was split over A and B tours each lasting about one hour. Suitable for many nationalities as headphones are provided. Very good trip, well worth the money.
Excellent value for money Discount for under 15 years.
