Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This church is stunning and so are the three other churches that u can visit if u pay the combo tickets. Kids go for free and the audio is superb. You will be amazed. I say no more.

This church having been begun in the late 13th century and completed in the 15th, it contains aspects of Romanesque and Gothic. They are pleasingly blended.

The exterior is not that interesting, but the frescoes inside are impressive. I don't think it is a top priority in Verona but entrance was included with the Verona Card so I took a quick look.

The antithesis of the typical Jesuit church. The lovely ceiling, the star of the show, is elaborate, yet has a light feel and definitely does not feel the least bit gaudy. It’s a relaxing atmosphere. And I love all those huge columns. By the way, this has a strong whiff of northern Europe influence, as it looks more like a Swiss or a German or even a Sud-Tirol church than let’s say Florence or Rome. You will probably spend only at most 15 minutes here, despite it being a large church. So there’s excuse for not going.

Incredibly beautiful church with jaw-dropping artwork from the 14th century onwards. Numerous side chapels showcase the work of many well-known sculptors and painters. I found the massive scale of the artworks, their age, and the quality of the artwork from over 600 years ago to be a stunning and humbling experience.

Another beautiful aged historic church in Verona! Very unique history and beautiful inside. There is a small fee which I don’t understand why people have a problem paying to see such history! I use an electric scooter and the front of the church area is extremely aged cobble (rough) but you can manage your way! There is also a ramp on the side and very easy inside! There is also an area outside with tombs which we didn’t visit but took pictures.

Visit this pretty church. There was a charge to enter, so we viewed the interior from the entrance. Need time to take in the decorations.

This is another beautiful church in Verona. The horse and rider sculpture on the side of the altar is brilliant. The chapels are beautiful and the ceiling is gorgeous. It looks smaller from the outside. This is one of 4 great churches in Verona and you would want to see all 4. If you enter this one first ask for the combo ticket for all 4. The cost is €8.00 for the combo or €4.00 to see one.
