So beautiful, so full of history, so vibrant, Italy at its best. Difficult to pick one of the numerous eating places but try and find one tucked away from the main square and it wont be so expensive. The operas staged there are magical.

We would not bother to stay in Verona again and the Piazza Bra, while a happening place, was not impressive as to shops and restaurants. The Romeo and Juliet House is a big attraction. While we did not go inside it looked very mediocre from the outside. This is also the impression we got from guide books.

The area around the Arena. It appears it is the place to be seen at night. Young couples dressed to the hilt (especially if an event in the Arena that evening). A place to sit at one of the many outdoor cafes and restaurant lining the Piazza, enjoy an Aperol Spritz (what all the Veronese drink) and watch life go...

This is centrally located with many restaurants to sit down to people watch and short walk to the arena.
Best to check out all the menu's as prices varying greatly.

The piazza is kind of long and skinny with the Arena in the middle. There are many cafes where you can eat and watch the many people hustling about. We had dinner at hippo with a great view of the arena.

Piazza Bra is large enough to support lots of people without being over-crowded, and filled with so much to see that it became my favorite piazza in Verona. There is the 1900 year old Roman arena with its original pink marble. There is a large open area where people can stroll. There's the view of the old 12th century walls...

Piazza Bra encircles the Arena and is a picturesque place for walking, eating, meeting friends and listening to music during the Opera festival. It's left side, the Liston, is the most beloved place for walking for the very people of Verona who mingle nicely among the visitors to their splendid city.

A nice area of town to stroll and chill out with the rest of the crowd. There are plenty of bars and restaurants to give a good choice of cuisine and cost.

Worth going to if only to see the arena. Lots of nice eateries and it leads into the main shopping street which is pedestrianised so no worries about traffic. Lots of cafes and restaurants too.

The Piazza Bra is where you will find the Arena of Verona. As a result, the piazza is busy, and the bars and restaurants a little expensive. We ate our last evening meal in one of these restaurants; while the food was good, I thought it a little overpriced, even for Verona.
