(Nuraghi are big, megalithe tower-like buildings ,18-15th century BC, the miniatures are small replica's from 9/8th century BC) First of all: by all means, get a car! Visiting Barumini by public transportation is nothing short of a military... More

If you have just planned a trip from Cagliari or from another town to Barumini, to the most famous Nuraghe of Sardinia, please change your trip plan and add at least other three or four hours. In fact there are two other wonderful sites to visit: The Old Casa Zapata,in which there are wonderful ruins of another Nuraghe construction, plus... More

Learn more about prehistoric culture on sardinia exploring its ancient towers built before Christ was born (around 1500s BC). Enjoy the history, the atmosphere and the breath·taking view across the area. It's... More

It was not an easy tour with narrow passage ways and twists and turns and narrow stairs...you should be quite mobile to do it. But it is so worth the effort to be walking through a structure dating... More
