Not sure why this is listed as an attraction. It is merely a main street to use when try to get from one place to another. I don't understand how Via Roma gets listed as an 'attraction'. It's just a major street! It has all the big-name shops and is busy, filled with cars, and not interesting.
Surely the heart and soul of Palermo is found wandering all the other small, winding streets that come off these big streets? These are the streets with the markets,...

I had some of my best shopping experiences in Palermo here. This is a beautiful tree-lined street, that is great to shop through on the way to the city center.
