The mosaics equal Ravenna and it is truly a must see. However, try to time your visit around the cruise ships as the Capella is small and is easily overwhelmed by tours. Not as bad as the Sistine Chapel, but close! More

The cappella patina, but also the mosaics on the outside in the courtyard are of great quality. In tourist season, it is best to come here in the early morning, the lines can be quite long, but we had no such issues. More
