Great location and atmosphere.Best to visit without all of the crowds if at all possible. Make sure you get hold of some background info before you visit. More

Some of the best views you will get in scicilly as mentioned previously you have the ocean and coast line with mt etna in the background truly breathtaking something nobody should miss. For the historical aspect take the audio guide. What an adventure. More

Best ancient amphitheater I've seen! Sit on the grassy seats and imagine an ancient Greek play before you - or go see Elton John or Carlos Santana rocking out here, high on the hill with the Mediterranean shimmering below and Mount Etna smoldering behind the stage. Highlight of any trip to Sicily. More

€8 per person entry which we thought was pretty steep, impressive to look at, though would have been better with some pictures to show what it would have looked like More

Step back in time and imagine a Greek theater performance in 3rd century BC. Now the Romans did not like the shape so they rebuilt it in 2nd century AD. Drift back in time and enjoy with 5,000 Greeks a performance! What a wonderful view, Giardini-Naxos and Mt. Etna. Guess the Romans liked more excitment, for they changed the theater... More
