I took myself and my daughter on this tour during our first visit to Florence over 3 years ago and loved it to bits - seems nothing has changed! My husband and I spent several very happy and well fed hours in the company of a Taste Florence guide last week and the tour was even better than before. The... More

This tour was without any question the most valuable resource for our 10 wonderful days in Florence. Toni and Kristine were terrific, helpful and enormously resourceful. They organized four hour tour of foods and wines that set the stage for a gastronomic adventure. Their map, which you will want to hold on tight to list great shops and best of... More

Taking this tour was so much better than reading a text book on food. Toni's knowledge and personal experience of Florence made this really authentic. Everything was well planned and comprehensive, covering little family owned businesses to larger wine merchants. The food we tasted was varied, unusual and so delicious and Toni even catered for the differing food requirements of... More

My wife and I are not tour takers, but the Taste Florence tour seemed like something we might enjoy, and we certainly did. It was GREAT. Toni was our guide and guru, or is it gura, for 41/2 delicious hours, and our group of 9 was extremely compatible. Toni's knowledge, personality and insights made this day one of the highlights... My mom and I took the Food and Wine Tour on our first day in Florence and we loved it! Our guide, Christina, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and obviously has developed excellent relationships with her vendors. We were treated extremely well at each stop and felt like we learned lots of inside info on the food and the shops.... More

I've been on two Taste Florence tours, and wouldn't hesitate to book a third if I was to return to Florence! The first tour I took was the Original Taste the Best tour, and it was excellent. The second tour I took was the "Taste Around Town" in May of 2011 (a year after my first tour) and is what... More

Fantastic tour of some of the best traditional eateries in Florence, with a knowledgable local guide. Toni really helped us understand how to eat like an Italian, how to navigate the Italian menus, what to eat for first and second breakfasts. The first highlight was a trip to the main market, where we tasted Bollitos and then had an extensive... More

For a nice change of pace from museums and jewelry shopping I highly recommend this tour. I recently joined the Taste Florence tour with my husband and teenage daughter. Our guide (and company owner), Toni, was knowledgeable, friendly, informative and so much fun to be with. She dealt with our gluten allergy amazing well - if you thought avoiding wheat... More

We just came back from our tour with Taste of Florence. We were gladly surprise we were part of a small group of 6. We started at a local bakery (Forno) and a Pasticeria (sp), where we tried some stuffed foccacia (scchiacciata) , coccolis with prosciutto and local creal cheese, and some sweet pastries with crema and panna. Then we... More

Amazing guide. Amazing food. Amazing wine. Amazing day!! A comprehensive tour of food and drink in Florence, you'll be in heaven. Toni is a genuinely lovely guide, very personable, approachable and practical! I spent two weeks in Italy, and I probably ate the best food whilst on this tour. Definitely worth the money! More
