This was a great bicycle adventure. Blue skies, the hills of Tuscany, superb food, great leader. I am a cyclist, and this was a great ride. Jillian is a great leader, concerned about her riders. The restaurant we had lunch at was a several course Italian meal, with wine. Winery and olive oil tour was excellent also. Had a nice... more

If you get a chance I would highly recomend Bicycle Tuscany to anyone. The staff is all american and very educated on the region. Everyone was friendly and personable. I'm sending my family on this excursion in August. more

Bicycle Tuscany put on a terrific day trip through the Tuscan hillside. David (our guide and company owner) was knowledgeable, friendly and provided great insights to life in Florence. The ride itself was challenging enough to be fun, but definitely not overwhelming--my wife hadn't been on a bike in years and she was fine. The price is great, too --... more

My friend and I did the tour (for me it was the second time) and it was excellent. The amount of biking was just right, the winery we visited was gorgeous and set up a great wine tasting and tour for us, and lunch was delicious and relaxing. It is very convenient that we all got picked up and dropped... more

I went on David's bike tour of Chianti this weekend and it was absolutely fantastic! We had great views and the route was perfect. The hill at the end of the tour was a bit difficult, but gelato at the top was worth it! Not only did I feel a great sense of accomplishment, but I also learned a lot... more

I always wanted to see where my father was born and the family I have never met. I also had a dream of bicycling in Tuscany something I thought I would never experience, well I accomplished both. I found David's web site (Bicycle Tuscany) and scheduled a tour June 3rd. The day was beautiful, the people and wineries were amazing... more

We spent 15 days traveling from Venice down to Rome. While in Florence we decided to get a taste of the countryside and take a guided bike tour. The tour went flawlessly from the moment our guide picked us up till we were dropped back off. The stop at the winery for tour and tasting as well as the lunch... more

This provided a welcome break from wandering through towns and standing in line at cathedrals and monuments. The bike ride through the countryside was refreshing and a bit challenging as I had not ridden in a while. Most of the trip was either downhill, level, or up and down through small hills. Toward the end there was a longer uphill... more

This was really fun. It was nice to be away from the city. At only 60 Euros/person (which included lunch, wine tour/tasting, gelato), it was a really great deal. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking. Some parts of the ride was a "little" difficult, but with a complimentary gelato awaiting towards the end of the ride, it was worth it! The... more

We went on an all-day 12 mile ride through the Tuscan countryside which included a tasting at a local Chianti winery and olive oil press, lunch at a small town trattoria, and gellato (after a long 2.2 mile hill, but the work makes it all the sweeter). Our English-speaking guide handled everything for us, including managing the bikes, setting proper... more
