We took afternoon tour which started at 2:30pm. The Guide took us to various streets of Florence and Cathedral of Florence(from outside), bell tower, paradise door, David sculpture, explained a lot about Medici family and tour ended near Ponte Vecchio. We had planned to spend only half a day in Florence and were not interested in enter any monuments so... More

They hav 2 tours ,one in the morning and one at 2.30pm ,we took the afternoon one....i highly recommend this tour.Its the best thing we did in florence apart from shopping..our tour guide was very informative,he took us to all the highlights Florence city had to offer.it was a wonderful tour,2-3 hrs duration,not too much of walking. More

First - you can't go wrong with a free walking tour. Even if you are not pleased, you can just tip a little less (but not too little - I felt frustrated with the loafers who would leave without tipping). However, out of the three cities where we did walking tours (also, Paris and Rome), this was our least favorite.... More

If you have the chance to visit the wonderful city of Florence try this new way to take a walking tour. we found it arriving at the train station, it is a wonderful guided tour that takes place everyday, twice a day 11 am 14 pm in front of the mc donald of Santa Maria Novella train station. 2hours tour... We were in Florence only two days, and decided to to the free tours (both of them) in one day. I highly recommend you do this on your first time to Florence, as our tour guide, Irene (also an architect) was able to tell us so much about Florence (and even pointed out some things not on the official stops).... More
