Fun if it's your scene but even then... The atmosphere is generally oppressive, even in the "more relaxed" downstairs bar it is too loud to have anything resembling a conversation; the music is lousy; the beer on tap is bad and bottles cost over 6 euro and finally, the local regulars look sleazy enough to have very recently crawled out... more

it is truly rediculous to think that anyone visiting florence should be compelled to visit space from seeing this list-- it is a terrible waste of anyone's time-- for the millions of fantastic things there are to do in this beautiful city... a night at Space is NOT one of them. i am posting in hopes that it will help... more

It's alright. Went there as part of a suggested clubbing thing with Contiki in 2003 - went on another Contiki in 2005 through Florence (different trip) that also suggested everyone go to Space... This "club" is nothing as described - there isn't a space theme at all - more of an outdated 70's theme - and not the good retro kind. Space was full of teenagers, and the drinks were terrible. Anyone who doesnt like space doesnt know how to have a good time. I lived in Florence also for nearly 6 months and have been going back yearly since. Space is by far the greatest club in Flornce.
