If you purchase a combined ticket to everything it could take a day or more to see it all. If you want an option that includes, ancient architecture, gardens and art with less crowds than some other options this is a great choice and easily accessible. More

I am glad I purchased the ticket which included all of the areas of the palace. However, it was somewhat confusing figuring out where each area began. The palace itself is gorgeous and really enjoyed seeing the jewels and antiquities. Be prepared for a lot of steps. More

After viewing the various museums in the Pitti complex, the gardens are truly a breath of fresh air! More

This is great value (free!) if you're over 65. I did this on our last day, by which time I was suffering serious cultural overload. There's almost too much world class painting to see (wall-fulls of Titians, Rubens, Tintorettos, Raphaels.......) Best taken in bits. The gardens are lovely (but more steps...) More

We were disappointed by Pitti Palace, However, we must clarify that we did not view the Palatine Gallery, which is probably the best component of this museum. I chose tour number 2, which included the costume and porcelain museums. The costume museum was amazing and very well set out, showing how contemporary fashion has mimiced the old styles.
