This is an incredible structure. The love taking my clients to visit this Castle particularly with children as their are the dungeons in the cellar that today are the EVO rooms! The history of the Castles and story of the current family is very interesting. They make a very good wine and excellent EVO. The restaurant on the Estate is... More

My mom and I were visiting Florence for two days and I was looking for things to do in and around the city. I found Castello del Trebbio on trip advisor and contacted them to set up a wine tour and tasting. It was very easy to get to from Florence and only a 30 minute drive. The story of... More

We visited the Castello for the wine tour and tasting. We've done several of these before but never have they been so informative. We tasted wines and oils and were only sorry that we couldn't buy more. It lasted for about two and a half hours. We returned in the evening for the taster menu at the attached restaurant. It... We've just had a wonderful evening in Castello del Trebbio. Alberto being cousin of the owner offered a very intersting individual trip for 4 of us (me aged 28, my wife aged 27 and our mothers aged over 50) with a tour in the castle and in the cellars, individual cooking class performed by Alberto's aunt and a wonderful dinner... I have not yet been to Castello del Trebbio but I have met the owners!! They recently visited my place of work to conduct a tasting of their wines and I was blown away by the fanatastic quality of their 06 Chianti Reserva!!! So much so that I am centering my next trip to Italy around their property! I can't... More

We went on a wine tour that thankfully brought us to this amazing castle and winery. Here the owners opened their home to us to see a couple of the rooms, view the wine cellars, and taste the amazing wine (it has become my favorite wine, and I am so thankful we can get it here in the states), and... By all means, go to Castello del Trebbio, but linger for a few days or a couple of weeks as we did. If you do, you will find that this is the kind of place where you will make cherished memories. The beautifully kept castle is enchanting and holds a rich and intriguing history. Indeed, the surroundings are breathtaking. The... More

They picked us up at our hotel and drove us out to the vineyards. We then had a tour and a cooking class. The grounds are beautiful and Albert is a fanastic tour guide. Great history and education on wine and olive oil. We loved our cooking class! We then ate the food and tasted the wine. It was a... More
