Absolutely no photographing allowed and they have enough staff to hover around you to make sure that you don't. There isn't a massive amount to see, nothing that you could buy to take away, so it was ok.

My wife and I arrived in Lucca in Sunday decided to go to the arias...what a well spent 17euros ..it is on for about an hour or so and starts approx 19:00 .All the singers are professional and the pianist is excellent.
the intermezzos are just perfect...we nded up going 4 times so good...Please do not miss
