There is nothing better than enjoying Lucca by riding a bike. We roamed around inside the walls for many hours. It was such a pleasant experience. More

We were on a cruise ship docking in Liverno Italy and we did not want to do the usual bus tour of Pisa offered by the cruise line. Paola the owner/bike guide of Tuscany Ride A Bike responded to my emails quickly and was very helpful. His English is excellent. We easily got two other couples after posting on cruise... More

Overall it was very fun but a few parts seemed not only non-scenic but somewhat dangerous. Never could find the restaurant overlooking the lake so we went hungry for the ride. Glad I did it but would only recommend it to people who really love to ride and want to get out of Lucca for an afternoon. More

I'm really sorry, I can not understand are the many years that we send our guests on this tour and everyone is enthusiastic. I'd like to know if you got the right itinerary, perhaps the gps does not indicated the exact location and sending you on a different road. I am surprised that you have not found the restaurant because... More

Although a physical challenge (for someone who is fit but not normally a bike rider), Tuscany Ride a Bike was one of the most enjoyable things on my Lucca trip. The bikes were outstanding, the group was small, the guide (Andrea) was skillful, and the winery was beautiful. I would recommend Tuscany Ride a Bike to everyone. More

A brief hiccup in our plans because of miscommunication did not stop us from having a perfect day full of adventure. My mom, 72, sister, 45 and I had made reservations with Paolo before arriving in Lucca. Our reservations were mixed up and he was unable to provide us with a guide for riding from Lucca to Pisa. He encouraged... More

I contacted Paolo before our trip to Lucca to find out about the various organized trips available and options if we wanted to go alone. He was very helpfull. On arrival at his bike shop he was again very knowlegeable about the local areas and skill levels needed if we wanted to go alone. We decided upon a route that took us... More

We did the Lucca to Pisa trip and decided to ride the bikes both ways. A journey of 2 x 32 km. Paulo was our guide and we were the sole couple - we made stops both out and back to get coffee and soft drinks and did Pisa fairly swiftly. It was truly a wonderful experience, the landscape is... More

My family of four (two adults two teens) spent a wonderful Sunday with Andrea on a bike tour with wine tasting and farm lunch. We could not have asked for a more perfect day. The weather, the wine, the food, and the tour was as we hoped and more!! We loved Lucca as well! We were on a cruise and... More

Thanks Karen, this tour is our favorite, the food and the hospitality of the Podere di Rosa are unique. We compete to accompany the group because we love this place, even after the ride the customers magically become friends. More

We cycled from Lucca to Pisa. We aren't the quickest cyclists and it took 3 hours, with a quick coffee stop en route. The guide took us along the river and then through the quiet back streets, beside the aqueduct and into Pisa. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, safety conscious and we felt completely confident. He matched our pace without... More

Paulo & his team of experienced cycle tour guides know how to cater for your every cycle and holiday wish. I, together with a group of 4 others of mixed biking ability, joined up with Tuscany Ride a Bike in Lucca and spent 5 remarkable days cycling the countryside and cityscapes of Lucca's surrounds; stunning diversity and civilisation with wonderful...
