Visit the Cathedrale di San Martino for the architecture and the interior. However, be aware that the church at present is undergoing a restoration project so not all features (artwork) are fully visible. The cathedral is undergoing a lot of conservation work (April '12) which spoils the visit and obviously attracts lots of school parties (ditto), but the museum next door is really worth a visit. Beautifully modern in it's presentation and building (interior) design. One can't help but laugh at the English commentry - where did they find him! More

Would probably have been lovely but at the moment both side aisles are covered in scaffolding and apart from the nave there is much less to see More
