After you pay for admission, take the time to walk up the stairs to the second floor. The view into the baptistry and out to the piazza is amazing! More

Worth a visit to hear one of the staff sing out on the hour or half hour. Lovely building and the pulpit is worth a visit but not a huge amount to see. More

If you visit make sure you are up in the gallery just before the hour. This is when a demonstration of the acoustics are performed by a couple of the attendants. It really is fantastic and like nothing I have heard before More

It is a large round Romanesque dome which looks pretty impressive from outside (but devoid of decoration inside). The construction of the Baptistry started in the mid-12th century. An intriguing mix of styles - spacious and plenty of room for the kids to run and yes their screams to echo - if you want peace and quiet go near closing time. More

We visited this site together with my friends. And we can recommend it for everybody practically. It's very interesting - how medieval constructors and engineers achieved so fantastic acoustics ?! This is our short video and sound from inside: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eRg6YZ_NSaI&feature=youtube_gdata_player More

We went in there as we bought the combo tickets for all entries. Few people were actually in there, one can go up to the first floor . Suddenly the guard upstairs told us to be quiet and to look down , one of the lady guard downstairs had closed the main entrance door and starting singing out some notes... More

The main draw in town is of course the Tower, but in addition to entrance to it our tickets also granted us access to the Baptistry. Not much to really see though I did appreciate the history and architecture. More
