very nice the second level of the baptistery, where you can listen to the echo every thirty minutes going up the staircase to the walls

Worth a visit to hear one of the staff sing out on the hour or half hour. Lovely building and the pulpit is worth a visit but not a huge amount to see.

If you visit make sure you are up in the gallery just before the hour. This is when a demonstration of the acoustics are performed by a couple of the attendants. It really is fantastic and like nothing I have heard before

We visited this site together with my friends. And we can recommend it for everybody practically. It's very interesting - how medieval constructors and engineers achieved so fantastic acoustics ?!

We went in there as we bought the combo tickets for all entries. Few people were actually in there, one can go up to the first floor . Suddenly the guard upstairs told us to be quiet and to look down , one of the lady guard downstairs had closed the main entrance door and starting singing out some notes...

The main draw in town is of course the Tower, but in addition to entrance to it our tickets also granted us access to the Baptistry. Not much to really see though I did appreciate the history and architecture.
